Drive-By ShootingTravelling by car in a foreign land is fascinating and frustrating in equal measure, with the landscape and light often giving of their best when the road doesn't allow time and space to get out and shoot. So here in Finland where I'm currently travelling and where there's almost never anywhere to pull over, I've taken to carrying two bodies, one with 70-200VRII and one with 28 1.8G, in the footwell. Then I can check the rear mirror and if the road is empty (it usually is here!) I can screech to a halt on the thin hard shoulder, wind the window down and grab a shot. Great when it's raining too!
